Ray grew up in Morro Bay, California, scuba diving and playing golf, before ambition and impatience lead him to leave paradise. He is a graduate of Yale University and the UCLA School of Law. He has been listed in Martindale Hubbell's Bar Register of Preeminent Lawyers since 1999, and enjoys a perfect "10" rating from AVVO.com (where he is a repeat winning of AVVO’s “clients’ choice” awards) year after year. Ray is a LawDragon Top 100 legal consultant. He was originally trained in litigation at, and associated with, Crosby Heafey Roach & May (now Reed Smith).
